Hereunder, "we", "us", "our", "ours" means Karam Safety Private Limited ("Karam Safety") bearing company registration number U31904UR2021PTC012333, a private company limited by shares incorporated under the laws of India, comprising of board of directors and shareholders and having its corporate office at D-95, Sector 2, Noida, Delhi NCR. Wherever we have said "you" or "your", it means the customer/ consumer/ client/ data subject/ disclosing party.
About Us
We are a part of Karam Group, a business group with its roots from India, engaged in the business of, inter alia, manufacturing, selling, distributing, marketing, and retailing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and a vast range of Fall Protection Equipment. Karam Group also provides Safety Training and Consultancy services at our Karam Training and Consultancy (KTC) facility. Apart from these, we also specialize in engineered safety solutions like anchorage systems, specialized rope access, evacuation and rescue products, and confined space entry egress systems (collectively "Products") through our e-commerce website – karamonline.com developed and owned by us ("karam.in").

Product Disclaimer
You agree to ensure that the Product is compatible with the other personal fall protection equipment used and is in conformance with those recommended for use by us.
You agree to read and following all user instruction manuals carefully before using any Product. It is assumed that you are trained to use the Products and are aware of fall arrest techniques. We and our affiliates, sister concerns, partners, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, representatives, and/or trainers accept no responsibility or liability for accidents arising out of improper use of any of the Products. We expressly exclude and disclaim any implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and shall not be liable for any incidental, punitive or consequential damages of any nature, including without limitation, loss of profits, revenues, goodwill or productivity, or for bodily injury or death or loss or damage to property, under any theory of liability including without limitation, contract, warranty, strict liability, tort (including negligence) or other legal or equitable theory.
Third-party installations of any of the Products by any uncertified installers are not recommended for our Products. In case of third-party installations, we shall not be held responsible for any failure of the Product on account of incorrect installation or in its intended use and the Products shall be deemed to be out of warranty, irrespective of the date of purchase and/or date of warranty claim.
Other than the Warranty Statement as stated here and subject to modification and update from time to time, no other oral or written information, advice, commitment, or warranty given by us, our distributors, directors, officers, agents or employees shall create any different or additional warranties or in any way increase the scope or liability of us. Unless otherwise specified in writing, all warranty statements issued in respect to the Products shall be governed by the laws of India and all liabilities arising out of or in respect of the Products shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sitargunj, Uttarakhand, India, irrespective of the jurisdiction where it is manufacturer, sold, supplied, purchased, or procured from. We strongly advise you to buy the Products only from an authorized distributor and encourage you to use the Products in a safe and diligent manner and comply with manufacturer's instructions.
Warranty Statement
WARRANTY ELIGIBILITY:
this Warranty applies to all products manufactured by Karam Safety Private Limited (“Karam”) and purchased from Karam or its authorized dealers within India, subject to presentation of the original and valid purchase invoice. This Warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
LIMITED WARRANTY:
Karam warrants that its product is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, maintenance and service, subject to the terms herein contained.
This is not a product functioning warranty. KARAM's entire liability under this warranty is limited to repairs or replacement of any defective product during the warranty period stipulated herein. The decision to repair or replace the product shall be at Karam’s sole discretion. Karam, at its discretion, may arrange an inspection of the product, as per its policy, before accepting or rejecting any product under warranty.
Product and Warranty is as follows:Product Warranty Period Safety Shoes 9 (Nine) months from the date of invoice against any manufacturing defects. Retractable block 6 (Six) months from the date of invoice against any manufacturing defects. All other products 1 (One) year from the date of invoice against any manufacturing defects. GROUNDS ON WHICH KARAM MAY REFUSE ANY WARRANTY CLAIM (WITHOUT LIMITATION):
Karam may refuse to accept the product from the customer if the term(s) of this Policy as mentioned below are not met-
- Where the proof of purchase has been altered in any way or is made illegible.
- Model No., serial no. or production date code has been altered, removed or made illegible.
- Installation, repairs or product modifications have been carried out by unauthorized service organizations or persons.
- Wear and Tear arising out of the use of the product.
- Claims that are made after the expiry of the warranty period.
- Any deficiency/damage arisen from the misuse, abuse, faulty installation, negligence, alteration, damage in transit or use not in accordance with the product usage guidelines/intended use and manufacturer’s instructions.
- Any deficiency/damage arisen from improper maintenance of the product.
- Where the defect is caused due to use of the product with any other non-compatible product or equipment.
- Where the defect is caused due to any force majeure event including any Acts of God/nature, any act beyond the reasonable control including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, fire, explosion, riots, strikes, lock outs or any industrial action.
- Deployment of the shock absorber and deformation of components after a fall are not covered under the warranty.
- This equipment is not user maintainable. The warranty stands void if an attempt is made to repair or open the equipment.
HOW TO INITIATE A WARRANTY CLAIM-RETURNS AND REPAIR:
Subject to the above terms, for any warranty claims please contact the Regional Sales Office near your location or customer care at Toll free No.: 18001037085 (Monday-Friday between 9:00am-6:00pm) or Email at: customercare@karam.in within the stipulated warranty period.
The Regional Sales office or the Customer Care shall follow the (QP3.06.09) Service Request (Complaint & Alarm Note) Handling procedure, as amended from time to time, to deal with all Warranty Claims.
RETURNING GOODS IS AT PURCHASER’S EXPENSE:
When claiming under a manufacturer's warranty the Goods shall be returned to the manufacturer at the Purchaser's expense unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Karam.

Other than this warranty, no other oral or written information, advice, commitment or warranty given by the Manufacturer, its distributors, directors, officers, agents or employees shall create any different or additional warranties or in any way increase the scope or liability of Karam or of this warranty.
Defective parts which have been replaced will become the property of the Manufacturer.
KARAM’S OBLIGATION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE DEFECTIVE PARTS WILL BE CUSTOMER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR A BREACH OF THE WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THIS POLICY. SUCH WARRANTY WILL BE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Karam reserves the right for the final decision on all warranty matters.
This warranty shall be governed by the laws of India and all liabilities arising out of or in respect of the product shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sitargunj, Uttarakhand, India, irrespective of the jurisdiction where it is supplied, purchased or procured from.
